Our Story
Blue Moon Dance Co. was born out of our founder Erin Frazier's passion for dance and her unwavering commitment to creating a space where people can connect, grow, and thrive. Erin's entrepreneurial journey began not on the dance floor, but in the kitchen.
With a love for baking, she started a gourmet cake company, where she discovered the joy of serving others through a business rooted in passion. This experience taught her the importance of community, creativity, and dedication—values that she carries into the heart of Blue Moon Dance Co.
Driven by her love for dance and the desire to inspire others, Erin envisioned a studio that goes beyond teaching steps and techniques. She dreamed of a place where dancers of all levels could feel valued, supported, and empowered.
Today, Blue Moon Dance Co. stands as a testament to her vision, offering a welcoming community where everyone can discover the transformative power of dance.

Meet the Team
Our team of passionate and experienced instructors is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for all our dancers.
Each member brings a unique background and expertise, united by a shared love for dance and a commitment to fostering personal growth and community connection.

Founder, Studio Director & Dance Instructor
Teaches: Country, Ballroom, West Coast Swing, Swing, Club Latin & Weddings.
She loves to break the ice with laughter and has a knack for relating and understanding people. She strives to make your dance journey easy, fun and stress-free.
Outside of the studio she loves going on vacation with her family, pastry arts and snowboarding.

Dance Instructor
Teaches: International & American Ballroom, Country, West Coast Swing, Weddings
Elina teaches with infectious enthusiasm and high energy, creating an uplifting environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn. Her passion for dance shines through every class, inspiring students to push themselves while having fun.
Outside of dance, Elina can usually be found working out, trying new recipes, enjoying good music, painting, or traveling with her husband. She loves anything that involves movement, creativity, and a sense of adventure.

Dance Instructor
Teaches: International Latin, Weddings
Jak has dedicated his life to International Latin, coming from a family of ballroom dancers, there was no escaping a pair of Cuban heels.
Jak takes great pride in making things that may appear complex approachable and transparent with the goal of merging people’s personalities and innate nature with their movement.
Outside of dancing Jak is busy in the speciality coffee industry or laced up in gloves in the boxing ring.

Anita loves really getting to know each student so she can tailor their experience to better fit their individual needs and make it more relatable. She enjoys making her lessons fun to help students stay engaged and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
In her spare time she loves all things creative; painting, paper quilling, creating fairy gardens and poetry, just to name a few!

Teaches: Classic Swing, West Coast Swing, Weddings
Annie loves to educate students on the origin and history of each dance. She has a unique style of teaching based on patience and paired with realistic goal setting.
Outside of the studio she loves to visit new places and cultures. When she travels, she searches for the hidden gems that only locals know about.

Teaches: Country, WCS, Wedding
Halle’s motivation for teaching stems from the ability to create meaningful, lasting connections with new dancers. She loves helping students embrace their learning journey, and finds inspiration from watching dancers grow their skills and confidence.
Outside of the studio, Halle is passionate about all things nature: floral design, propagating plants, and visiting local farmers markets. She loves attending workout classes and swimming at Barton Springs!

Sam likes to make students’ dance experience fun, liberating and safe. He loves to help build dancers confidence and delights in their progress. He’s got a deep passion for dance and enjoys sharing that with others!
Outside of the studio you’ll find Sam country dancing at local dancehalls, ax throwing and spending lots of time outside rock climbing, rollerblading or hiking.

Dance Instructor
Teaches: Salsa, Bachata, WCS, Weddings, Hip Hop
Phillip Fury is a West Coast Swing World and National Team Champion (2013) who loves to laugh, and believes we learn better when having fun. His career has taken him from the competitive floor to stages alongside Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Paul Oakenfold. He's choreographed and performed for Disney, Netflix, Meta, the Electronic Music Awards, and the Season 9 Quarter Finals on America's Got Talent! 'Fury,' as he is playfully known, honors the mentors who gave him his start including choreographers Liz Imperio, Chuck Maldonado, Gary McIntyre/Susan Kirklin and brings their depth of professional understanding into every lesson.
Fury teaches the way he learned — by feel first, technique second. He believes in getting students out of their heads and into the music as quickly as possible. Whether you're prepping for your first social dance or sharpening your competitive edge, he keeps things fun, direct, and judgment-free. An avid Martial Arts fan, outside the studio, Fury is also a technology builder working in brain health, machine learning, and infrared optics here in Austin.
